Delete your data

Takes about two minutes. No dark patterns, no guilt trips.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

• Open Akane and go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
• Confirm. Your profile, photos, matches, and messages are queued for deletion immediately.

Option 2 — By email

• Email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Akane data".
• We'll confirm by email once it's done — usually within a few business days.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account: your profile, photos, preferences and non-negotiables, matches, and message history — removed from our systems within 30 days.

What we may keep

A small amount of information may be retained where we're legally required to, or for safety and fraud prevention (for example, records of banned accounts). This data is never used for marketing and is not visible to other users.
